The native grass here is called Spinifex. It looks like a soft grass but make the mistake of touching it and you get pricked.

Hi TB,
I read on Photowannabe's blog that another blog - Mrs Nesbitt has started a theme day for photos. Each Wednesday you put a photo from the letter of the alphabet. Photowannabe is up to the letter M. As you can see I keep forgetting - it is after all the middle of the week!!!!!
